I've been involve with training for over 20 years. I've started with the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) as an instructor and I also served as course director, training coordinator and training quality assurance supervisor. Between 2004 and 2007, I supervised the implementation of the RCN's Distance Learning Center of Excellence which brought me to participate to various national working groups and to contribute to the Defence Learning Network initiative. From 2007 to 2009, I've worked as a learning advisor at Université Laval in Quebec City before coming back to the RCN as an Instructional Designer. I hold a bechelor degree in Insdustrial Relations from Université Laval (1990), a certificate of Business Administration from Télé-Université (2000) and a master's degree in Distance Education also from Télé-Université (2008). I am an also servibg in the Canadian Naval Reserve as an officer. My recent accomplishments include: 2nd place to the Federal Virtual Worls Challenge (2012) Design of the Canadian Naval Virtual Fleet learning application (2009 to date) Design and management of the training program for the implementation Université Laval's new student file management system (2007-2009) Drafting of the RCN eLearning Strategy (2006-2007) Design of the RCN eCampus portal (2006-2007) Implementation of the RCN's Distance Learning Center of Excellence (2004-2007)
